Probe Integration — USB and Bluetooth temperature probe support. Razzo V5T, Phidgets, CombustionInc are the initial targets. The milestone-based approach stays as the foundation — probes add real-time temperature data on top of it. This is the #1 most-requested feature.
Cloud Sync Between Devices — Sync your roast data across phone, tablet, and desktop. Currently you can back up to a local folder — full cross-device sync is coming.
Planned — Design Phase
Artisan Data Import — Import your existing roast logs from Artisan (RoasTime format) so you don't lose your history when switching.
Side-by-Side Roast Comparison — Compare two roast profiles visually — overlay timing, temps, and outcomes for the same bean at different roast levels or on different days.
Specialized Roast Styles — Nordic-style light roasting as the first named style, with style-aware quality scoring that doesn't penalize what's intentional.

- User feedback — What you tell me here, in bug reports, and through feature requests. The conversations in this community directly shape what gets built next.
- Coffee roasting community trends — I follow developments across home roasting forums, equipment releases, and emerging techniques. When something new is gaining traction in the roasting world, I look at whether RoastSource should support it.
- Pilot feedback — The pilot program generated hundreds of specific feedback items. Many are already shipped; the rest are in the backlog.
If there's something not on this list that you want, post it. The best feature requests describe a workflow that's currently painful — "I wish I could _____ because right now I have to _____." That context helps me design the right solution, not just build the feature you described.
